To the world you might be one person...

Sometimes we don't know just how much our words are impacting people. For me as a newbie author, I didn't realize that people were actually reading the books that I have published. So, it was easy to step back out of the spotlight when my life became chaotic. I figured no one was reading or buying them anyway so it wouldn't matter. But I didn't realize that though people may not have said anything, they are in fact reading as well as enjoying the work that I've created thus far. I received an email from one of my readers that simply stated how much she missed me and when my next release was. That email not only humbled me but inspired me to keep going. Early on I wanted to quit but even if I impact one person, it's worth it to me. I don't want to be like any other author because I never can be. But I can in fact be Riley, so today I'm choosing to be Riley and run the race that has been set out for. Regardless of the struggles and the obstacles, I'm pushing forward. So to the people that enjoy and are awaiting for my next release, I'm going to work on getting out something for you by the end of the year. Pray my strength. I completed a 3rd book, I just need to work out the kinks a bit. But keep believing in me as I push to keep delivering stories you enjoy.
