Happy New Year!!

New year, new perspective as I prepare for my annual consecration period. This year I will keep in mind that no matter how many invest in me, I will invest in me. I began this journey as a way to release and two years later it's still the reason that I continue to write. Someone just told me that despite my publishing anything last year I still completed two manuscripts. That was comforting to me because I was feeling down about it. But they're right, I wrote two books last year. There are people who have the desire to write who didn't take the time to make it happen. I completed two and that's something to celebrate despite my publishing anything. Both books will be released this year and the first will hopefully come out this month or next month. That too is something to celebrate. I'm learning that this journey is individual and difficult as I continue to learn who I am as an author. However, this year I'm going to commit to being the best that I can be. This year I'm committing to giving it my all. I'm still learning who I am but I'm enjoying the discovery.
