Small delay...

I thought that I would be able to resume my revisions now that my break is over but one of my author friends asked me to beta read her upcoming book and I couldn't say no. I'm so humbled that she values my input, two cents, and feedback. I mean I'm me and for her to want me to continue beta reading for her is so humbling to me. Along with loving to read and write, I absolutely enjoy beta reading. Being chosen to help bring a book to it's fullest potential before the public consumes it is just amazing to me. And there's a trust factor involved when an author picks you to be in the process with them. I don't take it for granted. So, I'll be in the beta reading zone as well as the revision zone for the next couple days. I'm hoping that I can do both simultaneously but if not, I'll hold off on my revisions so I can assist this fabulous author.
