As an introvert, I'm constantly alone and it's a place where I dwell with freedom to simply be me. Learning to trust my own process is a lesson that I'm not only learning but embracing. On Saturday, I wrote something that caused me to break out into hysterical laughter and my daughter looked at me as if I was crazy. I mean no one was around and I was sitting at my computer typing away then I just stopped and started laughing loudly. I told her that I'm not crazy just enjoying the words that are coming out of me. I'm amazed to see what my brain conjures up with these stories. It's amazing to me and so humbling. And if you don't first enjoy the story how can you expect others to enjoy it? It's simply not possible. But let me tell you, this current story is one that I'm really enjoying writing. There are several moments that will have you laughing too. Well at least I hope so.
Then a few days ago I looked at the other stories that I've started to see if I was still interested in them and yep, they'll be making their way to my plate soon. I remember praying and asking God if this writing venture was a fluke. Then I told him that if this was what I should be doing to give me multiple stories and let the words flow. Well, sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for. Not only did I discover that this wasn't a fluke but I was also given multiple stories. In addition to the story that I'm currently writing, I have also started 4 others. Including the one that I'm doing now, that gives me 5 more books. And I also have another plot that I haven't even started yet. I mean, wow. When they all come to fruition, I will have a nice catalog of adventures. And each one has their own theme and plots to tackle. They all vary in plot themes which is so exciting to me. I wasn't sure that I'd be able to come up with anything after Meeting Dr. Feelgood and then in the middle of it came Saving Rachel. Well in the middle of Saving Rachel came the other four. And some of them have multiple chapters already written. As a Pantser, I have to go when where the journey takes me so several times I had to stop writing Saving Rachel so that I could get the other stories to a comfortable place in order to pick them back up later. And as I read them each over, I found that I really like them and they are all worth finishing. That is simply amazing to me. Me, I came up with them and will get them to their final destination which is you, the reader.
Look for more great things from me cause I'm coming in 2019. I'm going to overcome my obstacles, I'm going to conquer my fears, and I'm going to win. I'm excited, I'm hopeful, and I'm optimistic. I believe in me.
